My Scooter Racing Photo's
" IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT" :My other hub on my GP200 restoration has been closed down by Hub pages the reason given was that it is substandard,it has been published for two years and been seen by thousands from all over the world,as a result of this I will be "closing down " all of my hubs "MYSELF" in protest and I will never ever use this service again and do not recommend anyone else to do so.I have requested a detailed explanation and I know I won't be accepting it so it is goodbye to hub pages as and when I get the reply.
The explanation is an absolute joke, for anyone in this country i.e.England will certainly know the differences in the way we spell and the way the Americans spell "our" language. They have the nerve to say that my blog is "substandard" for spelling and grammar, this is just a sick joke, incidently the e-mail they sent to me saying that, had spelling mistakes in it, who are they to tell someone from England how to use the native language of the country they were born in. Especially with the way "they" spell words of our language "English" differently. There was a time when I used to be an admirer of the Americans, but over recent years this has diminished to an all time low,now as a result of this in fact a "zero".
Anyone who would like to add any comments please feel free to do so before I delete this ....my last blog,as all the others have now been deleted in protest at being dictated to by Americans, who do they think they are Gods gift to humanity.........don't think so.
I have decided to restore my old blog of my photographs of when Scooter Racing was at it's prime in the 70/80's.I will be adding some more when I have scanned them,
Also please note all these photographs are covered by "copyright" and that is owned by Mick Murphy any unauthorised publishing of them will mean that this blog is removed and possible "legal action" will follow.
I have added some more mostly from Cadwell Park 1976,some interesting ones of what used to be the "paddock" in those days,it was actually along side of the track.
APOLOGY
After finding that some of these photo's have appeared on other sites and in print, (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION) the only magazine that had my permission was Club & Circuit, and certain people that I gave permission to, and being the copyright owner I have decided to reduce the quality of the scans, it is not that I would refuse permission in the first place, just that they appear without my consent, and there is no monitary gain from this blog to me,If it continues and people have not the decency to request permission I will just delete the blog.
There are more to follow but it is a slow and tedious time consuming process to scan and clean up the scans from negatives ( not digital images) that are over thirty years old.
It would appear that by being critical of something, it increases interest, since the addition of "substandard" and my comments regarding "the comment", it has attracted more attention to the blog,so I think I will also view my comments about Hub Pages on "facebook" make more people aware of the American insult.
